From the first day Sarah started nursing school, she knew her end goal was to become a Nurse Practitioner. She not only wanted to make a difference in her patients’ lives, but she also wanted to be more involved in their plan of care and in reaching their goals. Sarah has always loved taking care of others and quickly realized that becoming a Nurse Practitioner would allow her to do this.
Sarah takes the time to listen to her patients so she can fully understand their concerns and needs. Every patient is different, and the more she knows about the patient, the better she can treat them. Connecting on a personal level enables Sarah to establish a higher level of trust, leading to better care.
As a current officer in the Army National Guard, Sarah enjoys taking care of our veterans and supporting those currently serving. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter by attending MSU sporting events, going to the beach, and duck hunting in Arkansas.
