Today’s spotlight is on Dr. Jones! As a graduate and a huge fan of Mississippi State University, Dr. Jones was thrilled to become one of our Mississippi State University orthopedic and sports medicine team doctors over 25 years ago. He also serves in the same role for many local high schools, as well as East Mississippi Community College and Mississippi University for Women. Dr. Jones has seen just about everything from big sports injuries like torn ACLs, dislocated shoulders, torn rotator-cuffs, broken legs and broken arms to smaller sports injuries like broken fingers, sprained ankles and strained muscles.
Dr. Jones treats a full range of orthopaedic conditions. From injured athletes and weekend warriors to patients experiencing post-traumatic arthritis or osteoarthritis, he creates an individualized treatment plan to maximize the patient’s return to their normal activities.
Dr. Jones graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mississippi State University with a degree in Biochemistry. He attended medical school at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Jones is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
