Outpatient Surgery Center

Recognizing patients’ desire for recovering in the comfort of their own homes and outpatient surgery, the physicians of the Columbus Orthopaedic Clinic, PA created a surgery center dedicated to high quality, cutting-edge technology, minimally-invasive surgery, and compassionate orthopedic care. In 2003, the Columbus Orthopaedic Surgery Center opened its’ doors as a licensed ambulatory surgery center by the State of Mississippi.

In the event conservative treatment has not worked for you or you are simply not a candidate, we offer a comprehensive range of the latest interventional pain management and orthopedic surgery procedures. Our team of experienced nurses, anesthesia providers, and physician understand your concerns and needs, and have the expertise to help you, as well as your loved ones, feel both safe and comfortable throughout your experience.

Our proven history of surgical expertise, quality care and successful patient outcomes have been recognized by many organizations including BlueCross BlueShield. They continue to award us their highest national recognition as a Blue Distinction Center+ for spine surgery, total knee replacement and total hip replacement surgery. Typically awarded to hospitals, we are one of only two ambulatory surgery centers in the State of Mississippi to achieve this distinction for spine surgery, knee replacement and hip replacement surgery.

The Columbus Orthopaedic Surgery Center has been awarded the Gold Seal of Approval® and accreditation by The Joint Commission. This award recognizes our dedication to quality healthcare and patient safety. The Joint Commission is well-known for its excellence in reviewing and approving the care provided by hospitals, including over 22,000 facilities across the United States. We also obtained The Joint Commission’s additional certification of our spine surgery program, and their advanced certification for our knee replacement and hip replacement procedures.

We are honored to be a trusted partner by area colleges and schools in the care of their athletes, as well as numerous employers across the region when one of their employees is injured on-the-job. The physicians of Columbus Orthopaedic Clinic proudly serve as the team orthopaedic physicians to numerous area athletic programs including Mississippi State University, Mississippi University for Women and East Mississippi Community College.
