After finishing nursing school, Whitney knew she wanted to take the next step to become a Nurse Practitioner so she could be more involved in creating patient care plans and following patients until they reached their goals. She enjoys working with patients that are suffering from a chronic issue and helping them enjoy their daily life again. Whether it be through medication, injections or physical therapy, Whitney is continually inspired by watching her patients work toward their goals and achieving those goals.   

Whitney’s patient care philosophy is centered around listening. You can often learn more from your patient if you listen and understand their concerns. She always thinks of her patients as family and keeps that in mind while treating them.

Whitney has 4 sons and enjoys working with her husband Jase Abraham, the Director of Physical Therapy at Columbus Ortho. When they are away from the clinic, they spend most of their time watching their boys on the baseball field, soccer field or basketball court.
